DASSAI Blue Beyond, The First Step, will be the finest American-made Junmai Daiginjo sake available in the market, using Yamada Nishiki rice grown in Arkansas and water from New York.
Bottled in custom-made blue titanium bottles for DASSAI Blue, this first release, named DASSAI Blue Beyond, The First Step, is limited to 10 bottles. This sake will be a Nama (unpasteurized sake) and stored frozen to maintain peak freshness. There will be subsequent releases but annual production will be limited.
Compared to Japanese DASSAI, this sake boasts a stronger and more gorgeous aroma. It has a pleasant aroma of melon and banana. The sake demanded the brewers go beyond normal flavor.
